Surabaya Zoo  is one  of the popular zoo in Indonesia, located on the road Setail No. 1 Surabaya, this zoo is a zoo that used to be the most complete in South-East Asia, in which there are more than 351 different species of animals that consists  of more than  2806 animals. Surabaya Zoo was first established by decree of Governor-General of the Netherlands on August 31, 1916, under the name "Soerabaiasche Planten-en Dierentuin" (Botanical Gardens and Zoo Surabaya) for the services of a journalist named HFK Kommer who has a hobby of collecting animals. In terms of financial HFK Kommer received help from several people who have enough money.

Suramadu
Suramadu National Bridge is a bridge  that crosses  the Madura Strait, connecting the island of Java (Surabaya), and the island of Madura (Bangkalan, exactly east Kamal), Indonesia. With a length of 5438 m, this bridge is the longest bridge in Indonesia today. Longest bridge in Southeast Asia is the Bang Na Expressway in Thailand  (54 miles). Longest bridge consists of three parts, namely highways, bridges and major bridges.
The bridge was inaugurated earlier by President Megawati Sukarnoputri construction on August 20, 2003 and its opening was inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on June 10, 2009. Construction of the bridge is intended to accelerate development on the island of Madura, covering the infrastructure and economy in Madura, which is relatively low compared to other regions in East Java.
